Olsbu Røiseland’s Perfect Standing Stage Brings Relay Gold to Norway

Norway’s anchor leg Marte Olsbu Røiseland cleaned her standing stage to secure the IBU World Championship Women’s Relay Gold medal, with one penalty and eight spare rounds in 1:12:00.1. Olsbu Røiseland and her teammates Synnøve Solemdal, Ingrid landmark Tandrevold and Tiril Eckhoff finished 24.3 seconds ahead of Sweden. The Swedish squad won the Silver medal after their anchor Hanna Oeberg lost the lead after using all three spares to clean the final standing stage.
